Re: Humanities Poster Presentations
Organized by students at Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges, Re: Humanities was a national, two-day symposium featuring undergraduate digital scholarship. The poster presentation took place in Zubrow Commons.

Students Activities’ Etiquette Dinner

Sponsored by Haverford’s Rufus M. Jones Institute for Leadership, the Center for Career & Professional Advising. and Student Activities, the four-course Etiquette Dinner gave 24 Fords the chance to polish up their social skills. During the dinner, Greg Victory (aka Mr. Manners), a business consultant and professional etiquette instructor from Syracuse University,  gave students tips on proper behavior and which fork to use for what at a formal affair.

Stolen Dreams II: Documentary Film Discussion

Alumna Sarah Morris ’05 (right), interim director of Philadelphia’s Youth Art & Self-Empowerment Project (YASP), came to campus for a screening of Stolen Dreams II, a short documentary about the experiences of teens who have been incarcerated in adult jails that was created by members of YASP.  Romeeka Williams, one of the youths who worked on the documentary, joined Morris for a Q&A after the screening.
