Music & Justice: Evan Greer At Haverford

This past weekend, Evan Greer took center stage in several ways.

This past weekend, Evan Greer took center stage in several ways. Greer, a radical genderqueer singer, songwriter, and organizer, kicked off the weekend with a free concert on Friday at the D.C. Blackbox Theater. The concert was also open to the public. The following day, Greer led a climate justice workshop at the Stokes Multicultural Center, focusing on how climate change enhances systems of oppression towards minorities. Both events were sponsored by the Collections Committee, the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship, and the Hurford Center for the Arts and Humanities.
