Enjoying A “Taste of China”

The Global China Connection and Haverford Asian Students Association co-hosted a catered, family-style, Cantonese dinner to showcase the diversity of Chinese regional cuisine.

On Friday, Nov. 18, the Global China Connection club (GCC) and Haverford Asian Students Association (HASA) co-hosted a Taste of China, a catered family-style dinner in Founder’s Hall. The dinner showcased the diversity of Chinese regional cuisines by focusing on Cantonese food. The dishes served ranged from shrimp shu mei to chicken feet to egg tarts. Additionally, short episodes from a documentary on Chinese food were screened to provide context for the evening’s cuisine.
